At club level, he's played in Scotland, England, Switzerland, Türkiye, Cyprus, Norway, Italy and his home country Northern Ireland.
In Scotland, he had spells at Hearts and Kilmarnock, but it was at Rangers where he was most successful, winning three back-to-back-to-back doubles (1x League and Socttish Cup & 2x League and League Cup) as well as making several appearances in the Champions League and Europa League. In addition to the three titles he won at Rangers, he also won Serie B with Palermo in the 2013/14 season.
Kyle scored twice on his Burgh debut, a 4-0 win at Renfrew, before spending most of the season out with an injury. Although he was mostly used as an impact sub in his second season at Keanie Park, he found the net eight times. On 1st June 2025, he wrote himself into the Burgh's history books as he scored the winning penalty in the shootout of the Scottish Junior Cup final.
