It was the worst possible start for The Burgh as goalkeeper Luke Scullion was sent off in the 4th minute for denial of a goalscoring opportunity. Darren Christie was sacrificed to bring on Development keeper Andy Paton.
Paton pulled off some excellent saves and Burgh held strong until the 27th minute when Pollok took the lead from a corner.
Half Time: 1-0
Murdo MacKinnon made a couple of changes at half time and despite being a man down, Burgh looked the better side after half time. Aaron Mason was brought down in the box for a stonewall penalty, but the referee determined that Mason had dived and booked the Burgh attacker.
On 59 minutes, Danny O'Neill netted his third of the season as he headed in from a corner.
With 14 minutes to play, Burgh were reduced to 9 men as Cammy Eadie was shown his second yellow card of the match and was given his marching orders.
Pollok threw everything at The Burgh but the visitors defended superbly and blocked everything Pollok could throw at them.
Jordan Moore had an excellent chance to win it for The Burgh when he raced through one on one but the home keeper managed to pull off a good save to deny the Burgh man.
