Four goals in 13 minutes sent Johnstone Burgh into the third round of the South Challenge Cup.
There were several changes in the starting XI, with the most noticeable being Evan Currie and Ross MacKinnon making their first Burgh starts in place of Luke Scullion and Del Esplin.
Although the first half ended goalless, both sides had some good chances to open the scoring. Blair Rossiter had a an effort just wide, whilst Aiden Gilmartin and Darren Christie both forced saves from the opposition keeper.
Again, both sides had chances in the second half. Aiden Gilmartin saw the keeper off his line and went for it from inside the centre circle but his effort went over.
On 56 minutes Murdo MacKinnon made four substitutions to try and change the game.
Six minutes after coming on, Max Kerr had a goal disallowed for offside.
Then, in the 73rd minute, the visitors failed to deal with a Burgh free kick and it eventually fell for Scott Forrester who tapped in from close range.
72 seconds later, Max Kerr doubled the lead after Lafferty's reverse pass found the Burgh winger, who took a touch before striking it on his weaker foot across the goal into the bottom corner.
On 77 minutes, Kian Gilday tore down the left and crossed it perfectly for Kyle Lafferty who headed in from about 12 yards.
Lafferty struck again six minutes from time when Aaron Mason's pass to Gilday was deflected into the path of Lafferty who knocked it beyond the advancing goalkeeper before striking it into the roof of the net for 4-0.
In added time Burgh could've extended their lead through Lafferty and Mason who both had one on one opportunities but both put their efforts wide.
