Arthurlie 2-3 Johnstone Burgh

Burgh beat Arthurlie in dramatic fashion at Dunterlie Park on Saturday afternoon.

Blair Rossiter gave us the perfect start in the third minute when he fired in. Max Kerr's shot cannoned back off the post, and he collected his own rebound, passing to Rossiter who then drilled it low, into the net at Mark Waters' near post.

Rossiter doubled our lead shortly before half time when he received Lewis King's throughball and, after cutting back onto his left foot, again beat the former Burgh keeper at his near post.

The hosts pulled one back just after the hour mark when Taylor fired an unstoppable strike into the top corner from 30 yards out.

Ian McShane sealed victory on 88 minutes rounding off a beautiful move and, like Rossiter, fired in at Waters' near post.

Arthurlie got another goal back in the 91st minute through Bolger's 25-yard free kick.

Following this, Allan Mackenzie was sent off for a second yellow for alleged timewasting before manager Murdo MacKinnon was sent to the stands.
